Survivor Services

Description of project / program

Interface offers comprehensive, client-centered and trauma-informed services to people who have experienced human trafficking. Our services are available to anyone regardless of sex, gender, race, ethnicity, immigration status, religion or sexual orientation.

We operate a 24/7 Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking Hotline 1-800-636-6738.

Crisis Response

We offer immediate, in-person response when requested by law enforcement or medical providers to emotionally support adult survivors of sex and/or labor trafficking. The Client Advocates assess for basic and immediate needs, provide referrals and linkage to supportive services, inform survivors of their rights and discuss options for safely exiting their trafficking situation.

Emergency Shelter

We operate two confidential shelter programs for adult survivors of trafficking – one for men and one for women. The shelters offer a safe and supportive residential setting in which survivors can begin to heal from their trauma and work towards reclaiming their independence.

Community-Based Client Program

We also assist clients who are living in safe and stable housing situations with in-person support and advocacy services for as long as the individual is needing support.

Clients in our shelter or community-based programs can access the following services:

  • Case management and advocacy for survivors in shelter or for community-based clients. This includes emotional support, life skills building and job coaching and legal advocacy.
  • Counseling and mental health services – both group and individual counseling are available.
  • Referral and a warm hand-off to partner agencies for additional services including housing, substance use treatment, and medical care.
  • Financial support to assist survivors with basic needs, educational support and legal services.
