Interface has three domestic violence shelters. Services offered include: safe shelter, food, clothing, case management, counseling, legal and social service advocacy and other supports tailored to each person’s individual needs. Interface started Ventura County’s first pet-friendly shelter.
Early Child & Family Development
Interface Children & Family Services and First 5 Ventura County oversee 13 Neighborhoods for Learning (NfL) locations across Ventura County. The sites help provide essential learning opportunities and services for Ventura County’s nearly 60,000 children prenatal – 5 and their families, including Parent and Child Together Classes, Positive Parent Program, and Parent Network Classes.
Interface Children & Family Services provides in-person emergency response to adult victims of human trafficking. Sometimes survivors have nothing more than their person when they arrive at our shelter. Care Bags ensure that survivors’ immediate, concrete needs are met as well as provide dignity as they begin to rebuild their lives.
Youth Crisis Outreach
Interface Children & Family Services provides programs and in-person emergency response for youth in crisis or experiencing homelessness. Care Bags ensure that youth immediate, concrete needs are met.
Youth Homeless/Runaway Shelter
Interface’s Youth Shelter provides temporary shelter for transitional aged youth 12-17 who have been referred and are or at-risk of experiencing homelessness.
Interface’s Justice Services’ mission is to remove barriers, increase awareness, and provide community supports for individuals who have been incarcerated in order to promote successful reintegration and reduce recidivism.

Thrift Store in Ventura, which provides Interface clients and families with vouchers to shop for needed items.
