Love is Brewing at the Kentucky Derby

Thank you to an exceptional and talented Love is Brewing Committee, generous sponsors, hard working volunteers and more than 200 attendees who raised $125,000 for Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking Programs at the Kentucky Derby-themed event!

Guests were treated to a champagne luncheon reception including a Mint Julep Bar, virtual horse racing/betting in the beer garden, live and silent auctions, a “Best Hat” contest won by Jen Foster, meet and greet with a Camarillo White Horse, live music, boutique shopping and an inspirational program.

The 2018 Love is Brewing at the Kentucky Derby was imagined and co-chaired by Deena Clevenger and Marla Remedios who shared with a sold-out audience their passion for helping Interface prevent, interrupt and end the cycle of violence within families and support adult victims and survivors sex and labor trafficking. Special thanks also to our engaging and entertaining emcees, Gary Clevenger and Jeff Moorhouse, guest speaker, retired Superior Court Judge Colleen Toy White, and Interface’s board member and 2018 Domestic Violence Champion for Change honoree, Kathy Hartley.
