• DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The Oxnard Neighborhood for Learning (NfL) assists prenatal to 5-year old pre-kindergarteners and their families receive the necessary support so children enter kindergarten ready to learn. The Oxnard NfL has access to referrals in the following support areas: health, social, emotional, developmental, early learning, and family strengthening services and programs. Services include: Preschool Spaces and Kindergarten Transition Programs; Support for Children and Early Education Providers; Toddler and Infant Programs; Family Literacy Services; Case Management and Community Resources and Referrals for medical, dental and vision screenings and treatments; Developmental Assessments; Individual and Family Counseling; Parent Empowerment and Positive Parenting; Food and Basic Needs; Health and Nutrition Education; and Domestic Violence Prevention.
