- DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: Certified crisis counselors respond to the scene of a domestic violence dispute ensuring quality services are provided to the victims which include: counseling, referrals, locate safe housing, assistance in obtaining medical treatment, restraining orders, options and guidance to change their lives and freedom from domestic violence. Counselor will accompany victims to court, police department and act as a support person for mediation in which domestic violence is involved. Counselors will also assist immigrant women, free of charge, with VAWA application for legal status.
