• DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The Child Development Department offers classes and workshops for parents and those working with children in parenting skills, child development, discipline techniques and activities to do with children. Special classes are offered for parents and infants and parents and toddlers (0 - 3 years) to come together for play and learning activities as well as parent education. A preschool program is also available. Specialized programs for foster parents, group home staff and family child care providers are available. The instruction program offers many opportunities for developing information and skills working with infants and toddlers, ages 0 - 36 months.
