• DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: Casa Latina is a residential recovery home for pregnant and parenting women with alcohol and other drug problems. The minimum stay in our program is 90 days, up to 6 months. The first 30 days the women participate in a highly structured program which includes: alcohol/drug introduction, participation in a 12-step program, life management and skills training, help in dealing with cultural issues, family help program, individual and group counseling, parenting, stress management and relaxation and aftercare program. We personalize the program based on the individual's needs and recovery plan. After the first phase, the woman is linked with vocational rehabilitation and other agencies to assist her in transitioning into the work place, family and social environment, participation in AA/NA and other support groups which are strongly emphasized during stay and aftercare. We also specialize in bilingual/bicultural programs.
