- DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The Phoenix Program (K-12) provides mental health services to children with severe emotional disorders who have been referred to the program by their school districts. The students must be eligible for special education, for mental health services under Chapter 26.5 and have been unsuccessful in less restrictive educational programs. Upon completion of the program, children return to a public school campus with continued mental health support. Services include individual, group, and collateral/family therapy, medication monitoring (through one of the Regional Clinics) and a full range of special education services.
