- DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The National MS Society offers client services that include equipment loans, yoga, adaptive exercise programs, support groups for MS clients as well as family members, peer support, lending library, quarterly newsletter, educational seminars, referral sources and support. Promotes research for MS. Wellness Resource Center: The Channel Islands Chapter of the National MS Society has collaborated with health care professionals to develop an innovative multi-dimensional approach to the management of multiple sclerosis. The blueprint for this cutting-edge health promotion plan was the integration and blending of the best in complementary programs, such as diet and nutritional education, muscle and flexibility exercises, psychological and social support and professional medical guidance. The Channel Islands Chapter serves the Tri-County area.
