- DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: LCSWs and MFTs provide short-term individual, couple and family counseling. Classes on anger management, assertiveness training, stress management, self-esteem, parenting skills, couple communication and other quality of life subjects are regularly scheduled. Additional services include financial management and budget counseling, employment assistance, military widows' benefit counseling, transition/relocation assistance, counseling and support services for new parents and sexual assault victim intervention. Services include social work and psychological intervention in episodes of domestic violence and child abuse involving military families, support for victims of domestic violence and their children. Therapy groups for batterers and victims and groups for individuals, couples, parents and teens are formed as needed.
