• DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: Department investigates complaints of discrimination in employment, housing, public accommodation and intimidation or violence. Depending upon the kind of discrimination, the following categories may be included: race, ancestry, national origin, color, sex, sexual harassment, pregnancy, marital status, children, mental disability, physical disability, cancer, age 40 and older, religion, refusal of family care leave, refusal of leave for an employee's own serious health condition, retaliation for protesting one of the aforementioned discriminations, retaliation for reporting patient abuse and denial of pregnancy disability leave.
