Volunteer
Leadership
A
Board of Directors consisting
of 15-25 members of our local community governs
Interface Children Family Services
("Interface").
Interface
also has advisory bodies dedicated to specific programs:
Santa Paula Family Resource Center (SPFRC) Community
Council, and CASA Council .
Staff
and Volunteers
Interface currently employs 116 individuals, 58
contractors, and receives on-going assistance from a
pool of approximately 500 volunteers. The agency is
culturally competent in its employment, training,
community planning, and service delivery systems and is
responsive to the diversity of its community members.
The education level, experience and/or credentials of
staff and volunteers carry from Board Certified
Psychiatrists to entry-level clerks. Each program
operated by Interface is staffed individually according
to its needs. The staff available to provide Crisis
Intervention Services (2-1-1 Ventura County, Youth
Crisis) all have bilingual
capability; licensed, wavered, or certified
professionals (i.e. Licensed Clinical Social Worker,
Marriage Family Therapist, Certified Substance Abuse
Counselor, etc.) provide all clinical services.
How
Can I Help?
Volunteers at Interface perform a wide variety of
functions that include office help, Board leaders, and
direct service providers. For example, there are
volunteers that are trained to serve on crisis teams
that respond to families who have requested our help in
resolving family issues, There are volunteer medical and
dental professionals who assist at-risk children by
donating health and dental care services. All direct
service volunteers work under the supervision of
qualified program staff.
Interface
Children Family Services currently has offices located
in Camarillo, Ventura, Oxnard, Santa Paula and Thousand Oaks.
