Rate: $12 per hour (includes $1 bilingual incentive) + $1/hr with active AIRS CIRS Certification

Overview
Deliver high quality, professional information and referral services to callers and actively support department functions. Assess caller needs, search online database for organizations that are capable of meeting those needs, provide caller with referrals to multiple organizations and thoroughly document each call. Other duties as assigned.
Work varied hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish) REQUIRED. Effective, accurate written (English) and verbal (English and Spanish) communication required. Excellent customer service skills required, particularly in relation to phone-based services. Minimum of AA degree or equivalent experience. 1-2 years experience in call center preferred. Familiarity with social service delivery systems strongly preferred. Must work well in a team environment. Must have strong skills in use of computer and telephone communication and documentation. Must show personal initiative for following guidelines and directions. Completion of Alliance of Information and Referral Services certification within one to three years of hire is encouraged. Successful background and criminal clearance required.
2-1-1 Data Specialist

30-40 hours/Full-time
$16.00/hr with additional $1/hr after AIRS CIRS/CRS Certification
JOB OVERVIEW:
Responsible for supporting multiple 2-1-1 projects, including data systems and reporting that support quality assurance and department evaluation. Position requires analysis of data in ways that contribute to department quality improvement. Supports 2-1-1 database as needed. Requires the ability to maintain high quality, efficient work on multiple projects on an ongoing basis. Reports to 2-1-1 Director.
DUTIES:
1. Assist with department quality assurance, including compiling and reviewing call data for reports
2. Assist with department evaluation process, including compiling and reviewing data and producing reports
3. Support department AIRS Accreditation process, including researching best practices and collecting and organizing Accreditation materials and similar projects
4. Support database work and become an expert user of database product
5. Support 2-1-1 Director in gathering data and providing reports promptly
6. Support 2-1-1 additional projects as needed
7. Support department in tracking and improving quality of services
8. Complete program outreach and assist with call handling as needed
9. Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with databases, data analysis and generating reports
- Excellent organization, oral and written communication skills, including ability to edit and proofread data/text
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills required, specifically in Excel, Outlook and Word
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- Strong time management skills
- Experience in social services preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Successful background and criminal clearance
- Proof of valid California driver's license and reliable transportation required; must maintain an acceptable driving record as required by the Interface insurer
