2-1-1 Information & Referral
2-1-1 Ventura County
- Connects over 20,000 Ventura County callers each year with information about services available to them, including: basic needs resources (i.e. food, clothing, and shelter), physical and mental health resources, domestic violence services, substance abuse services, employment support, rent and utility assistance, senior services, services for persons with disabilities, support for children, youth and families, legal assistance and much more.
- Maintains the only comprehensive database of health and human services in Ventura County.
- Services are available in English and Spanish through bilingual staff and in 150 additional languages through phone interpretation services.
- Launched on February 11, 2005 and was the first active 2-1-1 in the state of California.

What is 2-1-1?
2-1-1 is an easy-to-remember number to call for information about health and human services.
2-1-1 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and help is available in multiple languages (including Spanish).
2-1-1 also provides incident specific information during times of disaster, including road closures and shelters.
2-1-1 has been designated by the Federal Communication Commission for community information and referral services, just as 9-1-1 is set aside for emergency services.

Interface 2-1-1 Services
In addition to operating the 2-1-1 Ventura County program, Interface 2-1-1 provides 2-1-1 Call Center services to eight additional counties around the state.
